hi, i making port of this game on little 8bit atari xe/xl :)
atari have vbxe expansion. claude code max helping me :)

I also noticed earlier videos on your YouTube on this project:


Are you going to create your own 2D Doom rendition? Or namely a port of Doom2D from 1996?
For the latter you can use the restored source code of the latest version, 1.40, which will surely come in handy: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2407.

And, of course - goodspeed, looks promising!

I think the game will just be a port of the classic 2D version. Atari can't handle it anymore :) I'm already looking for every free byte:)

VBXE is already a quantum leap for 8-bit Atari graphics. And I can help you with sprites if you wish.
